GENTLE, KIND, & WELL-TRAINED TO ENJOY ENGLISH, WESTERN AND ON TRAILS! BREED: PAINT REGISTERED NAME AND NO: MY TE SCRIBBLED, APHA 236,751 SIRE: SCRIBBLES by OUR SIR PRIZE, out of Sin Bar by AQHA stallion DAM: My Te Fantastic by THE ALMIGHTY BUCK, out of Fantasy Sue AQHA by JACK FANTASTIC FOALED: February 16, 1993 SEX: gelding COLOR: red roan/roaned sorrel overo with one partially blue and one brown eye HEIGHT: 15 hands "Petey" is a very colorful, handsome, sound and nicely-trained 15-year-old APHA gelding who is a direct son of the late, great Paint stallion, SCRIBBLES. Petey has excellent, muscular conformation with straight, well-boned legs and good solid feet. He has had a lot of professional training over the years and has been shown quite a bit in both English and western classes. For the last few years he has been used almost exclusively as a trail and mountain horse-camping mount. He is alert but never spooky, with a fast, confident walk on the trails and will go anywhere you point him. Petey has a soft mouth, neck reins and moves off leg lightly, and can do a 'pussy-foot' jog or extend out into a reaching trot; he also can extend or collect at the canter/lope and has a good stop. Petey has been ridden by total novices and beginners and he has safely carried them all over the Cascades and through the desert; yet a knowledgeable and experienced rider can really enjoy him as well, since he is so well-trained. Petey responds to whomever is on his back and loves to be ridden and stay busy, but he can also stand around for weeks or longer and still be the same, solid, sensible boy. Petey can be ridden out away from the barn or field without any fuss; he is always willing and eager to leave home, yet is not silly or in any big hurry when heading back home. He is easy to bathe, clip, has no vices and actually LOVES to have his feet handled or trimmed - he usually licks his lips and closes his eyes during a shoeing. Petey is only being sold because his owners have several other horses and he just isn't getting out as much as he would like. He would be priced much higher if he were a couple of years younger, and he is very healthy, current on all shots, worming and tooth care, so is ready to go to a wonderful new home right away. Petey lives in central Oregon in the Bend area. PRICE: $4,200 - might be negotiable to a loving youth home CONTACT: carol@centraloregonhorse.com and please include your phone number in your email
