Drifter is a nice coming 8-year-old blue roan AQHA gelding. His photos above were just taken on January 11, so he is in his winter coat and appears almost pure black; in the spring and summer you will definitely see a horse of a different color. He has a handsome head, soft eye, loves attention and wants to be a bit TOO close if anything. He has excellent conformation with plenty of bone, a deep powerful hip and good balance all the way around as well as a thick, heavy mane and tail. He is excellent on the trails and goes through, down, up and over everything he has been asked to take on during a past year and a half since his owner purchased him. Drifter has the SAME owner as the other handsome, sound and nicely-bred blue roan AQHA gelding for sale on this website - 'MR MONKEY BLUE'. There is nothing wrong with either gelding; their owner bought them as his dream horses over the past several years and the grandchildren are now taking precedence over his lifelong hobby of trail riding. Drifter is stockier, a bit taller and more muscular as well as quieter than 'Blue', his pasture mate. IF someone were wanting to purchase BOTH nice 8-year-old blue roan geldings as a package, their owner will consider $10,000 for the pair. Drifter lives part time up in Minnesota but is presently in Wickenburg, Arizona, for several months of trail riding through the desert.
