"Champain" (aka MaMa) is a gorgeous 15-year-old direct daughter of the famous, World Champion producing Paint stallion BARLINK MACHO MAN and out of a DOC TOM TUCKER/SKIPPER W bred mare. MaMa has the elegance, clean-lines, BIG HIP, slender shapely neck and beautiful head which the "Barlink" horses have been noted and admired for for many years. Add the cowy, athletic, quick and sensitive breeding of the DOC BAR line, and you have a truly beautiful, eye-catching horse that is also lots of fun for a good rider to enjoy. MaMa has loads of professional training and is very light in a snaffle bit; neck reins nicely; and is very responsive to seat and legs aids. She is sound as well as being an agile, fluid mover and she can turn back on herself quick as a wink. These last few years she has mostly been enjoyed on the trails and taken horse-camping, but she has also been well-started on cattle with four months of professional training, so should be a blast to start taking to team sorting or pennings. MaMa could also go into the show arena as an English horse with her sweeping trot, and make her new owner/rider proud in a number of events. MaMa has respectful ground manners and is good to catch, lead, tie, bathe, clip, load and haul. This lovely mare was bred and produced a couple of elegant foals in past years, so you could also use her as a broodmare, but it would be a shame to waste her training. MaMa is being offered for sale due to her owner's health problems and subsequent selling of the ranch. She is current on all health care, shots, worming and hoof trimming and lives in central Oregon.
